Customer Feedback For Life Drawing In Leeds!

The lovely group of ladies went to Leeds to celebrate their bride to be hen weekend, and decided on doing the Naked Life Drawing activity.

The life drawing makes for a fantastic hen weekend in Leeds, with the Bride to be about to embark upon a new stage in her life, her and her friends joined in on a fun packed hour long session with a great looking model and an experienced tutor and gained the maximum enjoyment from the activity.

They then had Pre-paid Queue Jumper Bars and Nightclubs Entry which gave them entry into all top venues, nothing else to pay on the door, no queue's and less hassle! They went to bars such as Tiger Tiger.

To top all this off they also had 2 nights in a 3 star city centre hotel with English breakfast the next mornings and Restaurant and bars on sit

There Feedback From the Overall Weekend -

" Sorry for the delay in sending the pics. We had a wicked time, the life
drawing was excellent, everyone got right into it and the hosts were
brilliant (and the guy was fit!!!) Unfortunately we didn't manage to get
into all the bars and nightclub as we were all fashionably late but went
into Tiger Tiger and Bar Risa and had a fab night out dancing and carrying out stupid dares - and ended the night with a good dirty donner kebab!

Thanks so much for all your help - i would definitely recommend
this to anyone, even for a normal night out. Have a look at the pictures,
sent a few lesser rude ones but feel free to put up any pictures for your
website if you wish.

Friday Afernoon's in the Office

What a Friday! The phones and emails have not stopped, booking after booking!  However as its Friday afternoon the whole Funktion team, especially Chris (legend!), seem to be in funny little mood and are more productive than ever.

We think that if you work hard then there has to be some fun thrown into the mix to keep it all real.  What's your Friday afternoon like in the office?

Anyway, just got time to thank the team for a fun day which has both great for the business and the customers who have experienced a little bit of silliness

Snowboarding with Funktion Events

Some of the Funktion Event went off to France to try snow boarding.  The main reason for the visit is to see if its worth offering some snow boarding stag & hen parties over there.

Staying in Tignes, France was a great shout as its a great place for snow boards and just around the corner to the legendary resort Val d'isere.  The slopes were great, loads of powder and plenty of sunshine.

The best part of the snow boarding trip was the apres ski and nightlife.  All the bars are so chilled out and just whats needed after a hard day on the slopes.  Most of the bars have live music and happy hours to keep everyone happy.

So would we recommend a stag or hen party to go snow boarding?  Most definitely!  This would be a stag/ hen party to remember!

At Funktion Events we organise everyone else's party, so we decided to sort a night out on the town in our home town of Manchester. After a long discussion we opted to have a go at Cocktail Making, which our hen parties love, in Manchester city centre at one of our many bars. Obviously the ladies where more than happy to have a go but the lads in the team need some convincing, not much when they realised they could be Tom Cruise out of Cocktail!

The night started off with the Funktion team meeting at the venue early on Saturday Afternoon (4.30pm) for a few cheeky beers to build up some dutch courage.

Then is was time for the main event! (Tom Cruise look out!) The lads loved it more than the ladies, they were mixing and shaking the cocktails in the cocktail shaker above their heads, even between their legs..

After playing some games and drinking more than enough cocktails we finished the night by choosing one lucky lady (Sharon) to do a cocktail train which she performed so badly we made her do a nasty tasting shot, to be fair she did pretty well considering she had 4 cocktails down already!

After the cocktail masterclass we relaxed in some reserved booths and slipped our remaining cocktails while the buffet was served.  Great night out in Manchester was had by all and will be remembered for a long time to come.

Now lets get back to WORK arranging other people's parties!!

Nottingham Arrows Challenge

Have you ever wanted to have a go at archery? Now is your chance, although you will need a good eye and a steady hand. It is an exciting challenge. Don’t underestimate archery it is not as easy as it looks it takes skill and judgement.

You can learn archery in the hidden depths of Sherwood Forest in Nottingham. There is nothing quite like the feeling of hitting the bulls-eye for the first time. It's a great activity where everyone can get involved; you can play in pairs or large groups. Before you have a game of archery full training is given, to make sure you can play safe and get the best out of the day. Archery has become one of the most popular activities during a stag weekend.

After your game of skill you might like to try a speed challenge driving mud buggies, these are great if you fancy a bit of power. Mud Buggies

will get your heart racing, there is a variety of courses, they extend over hairpin bends, chicanes, fast straights and corners slides. You have a choice of twin engine buggies with two power sticks and skid steering and that’s not all there is no footbrakes or steering wheels. You can have either one driver or two. Maybe you would prefer a single seater mud buggy with so much power you have to control slides in corners, is the buggy for you. Whatever your preference these vehicles will give you thrill and excitement to keep the adrenalin flowing.

This is a great activity for your stag weekends. You follow long straights, where you have to get your foot down controlling your Go-Kart around plenty of bends of varying degrees; your Go-Karting skills will really be tested to the limit.
Or while you’re there you could try Quad Biking; you’ll be riding powerful quad bikes up and down hills, bumps and around tight corners and drops, as you travel the course.
